We talk today about the Christian Entertainment industry and it’s effect on the Christian artist/writer/poet/musician and the Gospel truth. This podcast runs a little longer than usual because we got a little side tracked with the naked people in Eden… but as always we bring it back with a nice picture frame.

Hey our first (hmm or second) St. Bruno Podcast is here. St. Bruno was the patron Saint of the possessed, and also the name of the Church of my youth. So, to kick it off, we’ve started with a fantastic interview with Pastor Mike Klummp, the pastor of St. Bruno. On ADHD, Bipolar and the creative soul Mike Klummp is an accomplished poet, writer and Martial arts instructor also Pastoring a church in Kansas (i’ll find the link) and managing a African mission that shares the Gospel through Martial Arts.

Cultural Arts Center Dighton

Dighton, Kansas is oddly enough both the center of and the edge of the known universe. It is simultaniously somewhere and  nowhere. There is not enough sting in my theory to explain – just trust me.

Burroughs, Kerouac and Ginsberg descended here on trips to Denver from Wichita. It is the perfect pee  stop and had what was at the time a marvelous new glistening service station – gas, goodies and a change to stretch. And as you drive the drag in Dighton, you can still feel the heat and heartache that drafts behind in the vaccuum left by their departure.
